Project: Summery Braided Bracelets

What else says summer like friendship bracelets?  Seriously. It takes me straight back to 1988, but mine were, uh, not so chic as these braided beauties from the DIY princess at Between the Lines .  This is a superb tutorial - beautiful pics & easy to follow! - and you should totally rock this one out (thanks again 1988) with (or for) your groovy kiddos OR for your next boho summer look.  You know you wanna.

Happiness is Colorful

Color your world.  How can you resist these luscious tones?  From vintage prints to spots and spaces in your home to your look - I think any and all of these hues will bring a little happiness where ever you use them.  I will sport at least a few tonight to my anniversary din din for sure.  Will let you know how that turns out.  Have a fabulously colorful weekend!

Tricycle Days and Nights

Schwinn Roadster Tricycle is the new favorite mode of transportation at our house.  I really love it's retro look with handle streamers, a branded wood backstep and chrome fenders.  With all the big kids riding bikes in the neighborhood, Buggers was really needing some peddles to push as he tries to keep up.  We are still working on it, but he's in the game for sure.

Buggers is on his way.

Safety first.  His Nutcase helmet is his fave accessory (inside and out) - though we couldn't get him in pants and shoes. . .

I can see him tasting freedom already and loving it.  Oh easy rider - the world is your oyster.
