Drum Roll Please

Zoweeeee! The winner of Monday's superhero cape giveaway is Ashley - who has ever-changing list of favorite superheros, including her two kiddos!  Love it.  Look forward to hearing from you, Ashley - email me at, and we'll work out the details!  Thanks for such inspirational entries, and don't forget to check back each Monday in Feb for some dang fine prizes and ideas to boot.

Speaking of ideas - y'all know I love luggage tags.  They are the tags on my products for Smmidge Studio (whose ETSY debut is forthcoming, and our booth at March's Dallas Flea is confirmed YAY!)  I used them at my 2006 wedding, currently as business cards, AND as customizable tags for my new spring Smmidge baby blankets, also.  I just stamp whatever info I need, and tah-dah!  I especially like it when things are not perfect. . .  I think of it as rootsy, modern communique.  Heart that, yes?!?  I sure do.  Some luggage tag examples below - hope you like.  Here's to resourceful tagging, and capes for all occasions!

Business cards and tags I used on local honey given as favors at my 2006 wedding.

  1. LOVE the tags and blanket tags...did you make those stamps?? I love the font :) And, of course you gave local honey as favors with your super cool, creative tags. Awesome.

  2. Thanks KO! Big letters are a stamp set found in the scrapbooking section at JoAnn Fabrics. Little letters are a wooden stamp set from Staples, see this post for more details on that:
